Retail sponsor:

Kidde and ABC are proud to offer Operation Save A Life, a public service campaign designed to increase awareness and educate consumers about the dangers of fire, its related hazards and how to prevent them. Through a series of fire and carbon monoxide safety messages that air on ABC-affiliate stations, Kidde product donations, and informative product displays in retail stores across the country, Kidde and ABC work to increase public awareness about fire and carbon monoxide safety. Ultimately, we hope to reduce deaths and injuries from fire and CO poisoning.

Since 2002, Kidde has donated more than 700,000 smoke alarms to fire departments in select cities for installation in low-income housing. Currently, Kidde works with ABC-affiliate stations and fire departments in:

 New York City  Philadelphia
  Chicago  Wilkes-Barre / Scranton, PA
  Harrisburg, PA  Raleigh, NC
  Houston
